Located on the Northern West Coast, of the South Island, New Zealand.

The Backpackers accommodation sleeps 10, two separate showers and two toilets. Kitchen includes, gas cooking, jug, fridge and the basics.

Activities in and around the area. If you're into surfing there is around 10Km of accessible beach, and in most places there is a reef within 100M off shore. (It just shows every once and a while when the tides out.) There is always great surfing conditions here in Paturau. If you want to do a little walking, there is plenty of places to explorer. We have a couple of Kayaks, and canoes if you're into exploring the sea, rivers or paddle around West Haven (Whanganui Inlet) See some of our Photos below
